The trail starts with the group of mountains of the MEZZODI'. Here you will discover wild and uncontaminated territories up until the Pramper area (Pramperet Hut - km 14,5-refreshment 4 - 1857 m - National Park of the Belluno Dolomites). The S.SEBASTIANO – TAMER mountains follow and when reaching the Duran pass (km 28,2 - refreshment 6 at S. Sebastiano Hut – 1605 m), one of the most colossal rocky sequences starts, that develops northwards with the MOIAZZA and CIVETTA.
Here, the terrain alternates between wide glacial circles and 'solitary furrowed fields'. It is incredibly solemn and extremely exiting to run through the gigantic base of the 'Grande Civetta' until the Coldai Hut (km 42,5 – refreshment 9 – 2135 m).
You then run at the foot of the isolated yet grandiose Mount PELMO, a mountain that polarises your vision, a mountain considered to be amongst the most fascinating and unique of the Dolomites with Passo Staulanza Hut (km 52 - refreshment 11 - 1766 m) and Venezia Hut (km 59 - refreshment 13 - 1946 m).
You then pass by Zoppè di Cadore (km 64 - refreshment 14 – 1462 m) and Talamini Hut (km 69 – refreshment 15 – 1582 m), to reach the Museum in the Clouds at the peak of the Monte Rite (Reinhold Messner Mountain Museum with the Dolomites Hut – km 79 – refreshment 16 – 2160 m). From here, you proceed to finally reach the BOSCO NERO (Casera Bosconero Hut -km 89 – refreshment 19 – 1457 m) , while admiring the SPIZ di MEZZODI’, two mountains that complete the coronation of the valley, before descending to the finishing line along the Fagarè Nature Path and the villages of Ciamber and Pra.
