Although the importance of physiotherapy is well known to all running enthusiasts, it assumes even greater importance in trail running, a sport that exposes athletes to the risk of dysfunctions from overuse and frequent injuries. That is why this service has always been available at the finish line since the 0 edition in 2012.
Over the years, the service has grown alongside the race, thanks to the special volunteers who look after the athletes and DXT organization:the students of the Physiotherapy Courses of the University of Padua, the Amateur and Cultural Sports Association "A piedi nudi" of Bologna and the Physiotherapy Practice “Cuorefisio” of Agordo (BL).
Thanks to these valuable collaborations, in addition to the physiotherapy service at the finish line, the KAILAS Dolomiti Extreme Trail provides a second physiotherapy station at the Passo Staulanza.
